Overview

A London based debt and direct lending fund are looking to hire a fund accountant to report directly to the head of finance; taking ownership of in-housing fund accounting responsibilities. The company in question specialise across debt and direct lending investments and are currently raising a new fund. As such, this opportunity has arisen within the team. Your role as fund accountant will entail; Finance Oversight of and manage the day to day relationship with the fund administrators Manage the capital call and distribution process Review of monthly/quarterly NAV and prepare/develop performance measures Reconciliation and recharge of intragroup expenses, and manage the fund AP function Contribution to and monitoring fund finance counterparties Review of fund vehicle regulatory returns Liaise with external auditors and timely preparation of financial statements Provide ad hoc support to the investment team Contribute to significant in-housing of processes from external providers Assisting with planning and management of the annual audits. Operations Calculation and collection of portfolio and management fees Responding to investor queries The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with exposure to Private equity/debt fund structure and familiarity with Limited Partnership Agreements. An individual from a fund administrator would be ideal. Excellent communication skills and a "can-do" attitude are key. Remuneration will be in the region of £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience with discretionary bonus. Please apply directly or contact for more information.
