Overview

Payroll & HR Specialist £50k to £55k 15% Bonus - Central London A leading Investment Firm based in Central London seek an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to head up their Payroll & Benefits offering. Reporting into the HR Operations Manager you will ensure processes, practices and procedures are in place to ensure that the firm have a smooth running payroll & benefits offering for their employees. In line with this you will also be responsible for the entire on-boarding process (start to finish) and work closely with the HR Team. Payroll: Collect and collate monthly payroll data for accurate payroll runs - Complex due to nature of the business Close contact with the Payroll Vendor Be the subject matter expert for the UK and keep up to date with current and new legislation/tax/benefits Ensure sign on bonuses or other payments are recorded in the correct month for accurate and timely repayment Ensure correct booking of Severance Pay & Garden Leave in co-operation with Finance Manage other Payroll and Employment tasks: Reporting Benefits & HR Be responsible for the entire on-boarding process Be responsible for the benefits offering: Negotiations, renewals and benchmarking Be the subject expert for all benefits and pensions questions and queries update the HR Systems (on-going) Global Mobility duties for Expats: Social security, Tax and Insurances Ad hoc HR reporting Must haves: Be a strong Payroll & Benefits operator Be interested in a hybrid role: Payroll, Benefits & HR Strong communicator internal/external Strong Vendor management and 3rd party benefits management Strong systems experience: Excel Must be looking to run, drive and own a payroll and benefits offering Forward thinking, modern payroll professional Team player Flexible
