Overview
Pay: MPS/UPS plus TLR Start Date: September 2020 New Line Learning Academy is an exciting school, which was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its November 2019 inspection. We now have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding, tenacious teacher of science to contribute to the schools continued success and lead in your specialism (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) across the dept. at GCSE, the role will include ensuring schemes of work in place best support students as they progress through the curriculum, tracking student progress and putting in place interventions as well as updating assessments. We are looking for a driven enthusiastic candidate who is able to support an already successful team and who shows a real passion for science and a want to instill this in their learners. Although candidates would primarily be focused on teaching their specialist area it would be an advantage to be able to teach all of the sciences. There are opportunities to teach triple science to our Grammar Stream students in addition to Combined Science at GCSE. There is also the possibility in the future to introduce A-level.
