Overview
East Park is seeking a Team Leader. Successful applicants will be responsible for the management over 24 hours of a designated part of the residential service, i.e. one long-stay accommodation house. In line with the values of Getting it Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) and Curriculum for Excellence (CfE), the Team Leader will work collaboratively with others, as a member of the team around the child, to promote the well-being of children and young people and to ensure that for all resident young people, East Park is a safe, nurturing and valuing environment in which to grow and learn. Candidates are required to be registered with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). They must have approved qualifications to meet SSSC requirements or commit to achieving those within 5 years of their registration start date. Current SSSC requirements are a Nursing or Social Care qualifications equivalent to SVQ4. Additionally, experience of working with children / young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour would be beneficial. Pay Rate: from £15.81 to £18.38 per hour , dependent upon qualifications and experience.
