Job Title: Risk Manager Business Unit: Cavendish Nuclear Location: HMNB Clyde, Faslane REF: SF29767 About the role Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to carry out an embedded role with our Customer, to manage and mitiage programme risks within a large multi year, multi stream asset infrastructure delivery programme. Main responsibilities: Developing risk management standards, policies and procedures in line with management systems Establishing and managing the risk management plan Coordination with programme management team on all aspects of risk management Champion objectives and standards for a group of risk professionals, which reflect good practice Run and facilitate risk management workshops Facilitate development, implementation and tracking of mitigation actions Risk modelling and analysis for major and complex projects / programmes to produce and advise on levels of contingency, having the appropriate level of contingency in place to protect undue risk. What you need to do the role: Experience in delivering in Project Management Chartered member of relevant Construction/Building/Project Management body Previous experience of managing risk across Framework and Contracts. The successful candidate must be able to provide leadership; to deliver a fast-start and step-change impact, improve SQEP status, develop team skills and capability; and work collaboratively with integrity, agility, and enthusiasm.
