Overview
Management Accountant (Manager) Are you an experienced Manager who would like to do a varied, senior Management Accounting role but within an incredibly flexible, autonomous and forward-thinking Accountancy Practice environment working with various and differing clients? If so, please read on Due to the continual expansion of this entrepreneurial, progressive regional firm of Chartered Accountants they are seeking a ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified or Qualified by Experience senior Management Accountant to manage all aspects of a client’s outsourced management accounting service. You will have experience of managing teams and deal with clients from small owner-managed businesses to multimillion-pound companies. Key responsibilities will include: Leading on preparation of monthly financial information including management accounts Implementation, monitoring and checking of system and process controls Managing the company’s cash flow forecast and profit forecasts Completion of the statutory financial statements and tax packs Some audit exposure but mostly managed by dedicated team Preparation of the different clients annual and monthly budget updates Delivery of ad-hoc financial and business projects as agreed with Partners What we are looking for: ACCA/CIMA/ACA/ Qualified by Experience Management experience Hands on and able to manage time and workload given the autonomous nature of the role A natural proven problem solver - proactive in identifying business/financial issues, recommending solutions and in implementing agreed recommendations You will spend time on client sites and will therefore have excellent interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport, gaining trust in order to achieve desired outcomes This is a very entrepreneurial firm that really looks after their staff, their training and development.
