Overview
Bookkeeper needed for client based in Folkestone. Part time and Full time options will be considered Your new company Hays are working on an Exclusive basis with a retailer based in Folkestone to help them recruit for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant type person. Our client is happy to be approached with part time and full-time solutions. Capability to be able to complete the role is the most important aspect. Your new role Your role is to provide general accounts assistance to their growing finance team. The following tasks / duties with fall under your responsibility along with adhoc accounting assistance such as liaising with their accounting firm and reporting to the directors as necessary. Day to day accounting posting (currently on sage) Processing payroll Data inputting invoices/credits Chase suppliers with any issues Make supplier payments Credit controller What you'll need to succeed Our client uses an external Accountant so prior experience working in a similar relationship or dealing with our sourced accounting would be beneficial. Proven experience working within accounts Ability to work in a team and independently Proven experience of completing the above tasks AAT level 3 / 4 would be advantageous but not essential What you'll get in return You will have your very own dedicated consultant that work exclusively with clients in the Kent area.
