Overview

Knauf UK are one of the UK's leading manufacturers of lightweight building products and systems - we are currently recruiting for a Customer Relationship Analyst to join our Finance Department. This analytical role is focused on ensuring proper systems and control procedures are in place in relation to sales prices including all rebates and discounts. This will include month end review of accruals and payments as well as review over discount percentages applied to support the narrative of the net selling price. In addition, this role will undertake customer audits or arising rebate claims and reconciliations from accruals and payment of all types of rebates. Customer negotiations financial support also need to be fulfilled as part of this role. Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities: You are required to follow company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others Working in a team environment to provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers Support the Lead Customer Relationship Accountant in identifying and implementing process improvements in the area of sales pricing and discount calculations Process month end reconciliations and reports, ensuring all deadlines are met and the integrity of the data. Audit and ensure controls are adhered to for all sales information Attend Customer audits Audit, maintain and compliance check contractual customer documentation including CTC’s Analysis of the impact of decisions made to prices and discounts Prepare customer reports Maintain and process third party rebates Maintain and review changes to pricing master data. Consider the impact of changes on customer and product profitability Generate reports on credit notes and use this information to complete root-cause analysis Maintain SAP CRM and ERP information to ensure integrity of sales and discount data Anything commensurate to complete your role. Requirements: GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Mathematics & English Finalist/newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Ability to work towards tight reporting deadlines High interpersonal skills to develop and sustain good working relationships Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Intermediate level Excel as a minimum Familiar with business accounting software, SAP CRM experience desirable Understanding of complex sales structures including rebate and discount structures Ability to deliver exceptional levels of customer service to both internal and external customers Experienced in analysing high volumes of data and communicating the impact and 'story’ behind the data Inquisitive and confident at putting ideas forward for continuous improvement We categorically do not accept speculative CVs from recruitment agencies; any profiles that are sent to Knauf UK and Ireland without the agency being appointed prior will be treated as a gift from the agency.
