Overview
Senior Management Accountant Client Details Public Sector organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their finance department Description The Management Accountant will be responsible for: The weekly and monthly reporting process, and the production of detailed monthly accounts Supporting the budget and forecasting processes Detailed variance, actual vs budget and P&L analysis which will be used to inform business decisions Supporting members of the senior leadership team with key financial information Assisting with the continued development of internal systems and processes Product and take ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigation of balances when required Responsible for posting accounting journals, including Accruals, Prepayments, Maintain the Fixed Asset Register Profile The successful candidate for the Management Accountant will be: Actively pursuing their ACCA or CIMA qualifications Confident user of Excel; V Lookups, Pivot Tables and Sumifs Broad systems knowledge; Sage 50 implementation would be advantageous Confident in working closely with senior stakeholders Previous experience in the Education sector would be advantageous Job Offer The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary along with great career progression
