Overview
Contract role: Solutions Architect (Business Minded / not highly technical) Location: Croydon/Salford Duration: 12 Months The client is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join their team based in either Croydon or Salford. The team is looking for an architect who is primarily business minded as this is not a highly technical role. Key responsibilities: 1.Translating business and technology requirements into technology solutions within defined strategies and architectural principles. 2.Ownership of the group's Hosting Infrastructure Architecture; designing services with appropriate resilience, performance, scalability, etc. as aligned to strategies 3.Assist in the development of the Hosting Portfolio's infrastructure and hosting strategies - including On Premise and Private/Public Cloud solutions 4.Provide oversight and guidance across Hosting Infrastructure Change 5.Support tenant and delivery teams in defining requirements, creating DMRs and developing solutions 6.Definition and maintenance of the Hosting Reference Architecture 7.Definition and governance of technical standards aligned to industry/technology best practice, ensuring compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations 8.Ensures designs maintain necessary system coverage and recovery targets (RPOs and RTOs) for successful recovery of core IT services 9.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the IT infrastructure, identifying where improvements can be made and where documentation updates are required LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is an HMG Approved Consultancy and operates as an IT & Engineering Consultancy or as an Employment Business & Agency, depending upon the precise nature of the work, for security cleared jobs or non-clearance vacancies, we welcome applications from all sections of the community and from people with diverse experience and backgrounds.
