Overview

Business intelligence & insights lead with strong quant skills for global pharmaceutical company in Cambridge Your new company Is a global pharmaceutical company looking to add a business insights / BI & MR lead to their growing team in the Cambridge area to take on projects across several assets in their portfolio. They have an excellent corporate atmosphere and a strong pipeline. In the current situation the role will initially be remote based - after this the expectation is that you will be primarily based in Cambridge. Your new role You will be joining an established business insights & intelligence team to analyse the performance of multiple assets in the company's portfolio across the UK & Ireland, developing strategies and delivering these to senior management, liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors / systems providers. Main duties will include: Carrying out competitive / market intelligence and analytics work on products; Managing and helping shape business intelligence projects to gather product / marketplace information; Forecasting, along with colleagues; Evaluating key market place trends, in order to identify business opportunities; Generating insights from data analysis, eg market research projects, CRM or other secondary data; Developing and delivering strategic recommendations on brand strategy, as well as Business Intelligence plans; Liaising with internal stakeholders and field force; Dealing with third party vendors; and Leading and overseeing projects, ensuring effective timeline management. What you'll need to succeed As well as excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills, you should have: A strong track record within pharmaceutical business intelligence, analytics, forecasting or market research; Experience of working on projects across the UK or EU pharmaceutical / healthcare market; Good experience with data visualisation techniques and software; Project management experience, including setting and managing timelines and milestones; Excellent people skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence decisions; Strong problem solving skills; A technical, business or scientific background, eg BSc, MSc or equivalent experience; and Experience using dashboards and/or data visualisation or similar tools, eg using Excel, Qlikview / Qliksense, Tableau, PowerBI, Veeva or Salesforce What you'll get in return The opportunity to be involved with a variety of interesting projects across the company's portfolio, generating insights & developing strategies that will drive the business forward, a generous pay rate, and an excellent working atmosphere.
