Client Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant A genuinely exciting and unique opportunity has arisen within a niche, ambitious and entrepreneurial firm of Chartered Accountants. With luxury offices and facilities in central Birmingham, the business has great vision and big plans for growth. The successful candidate will be presented with a clear career plan for a Directorship within the business and possible opportunities to Manage other branches in the future. This Manager-level position will oversee a small team dedicated to delivering an outstanding service to its client portfolio for which you will take a lead role in ensuring the quality of team’s work is in line with customer expectations. The Role - Deliver proactive and outstanding customer service - Supporting Business Development - Support marketing strategy with ideas and delivery - Building industry networks and developing clients - Provide Tax and Accounting advice to clients - Full client management from scheduling work to agreeing timescales for accounts completion. - Oversee preparation and submission of accounts, tax and Vat returns - Reviewing work by junior members of team and providing technical accounting support The Person - ACA/ ACCA/CTA Qualified - Experience of working with clients at a senior level - Experience and knowledge of Management Accounts, Consolidations, Bookkeeping and financial processes - A passion for using and exploring technology to provide the best client solutions such as cloud accounting systems and apps. - Knowledge of Corporation Tax, Income Tax and VAT - Statutory and Technical knowledge concerning Ltd Company Accounts - Able to instigate change and new ideas Please get in touch to discuss the role further.
