Overview
Speech & Language Therapist - Farnham, Surrey Nationally celebrated, for eighty years our client has empowered bright boys who might struggle in mainstream schools, to transform their futures and to realise their true potential. The largest school of its kind in Britain, they offer a full range of specialist support, particularly for boys with specific learning and language-based difficulties, including Dyslexia, Developmental Language Disorders and Dyspraxia. The School provides full boarding, weekly boarding and day places. They are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Speech & Language Therapist to join their department, for an April start. You must be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and be registered with HCPC and RCSLT. The post will involve managing and delivering therapy to a varied caseload. Regular supervision and observation programmes provide formal support and feedback and encourage reflection and continuing professional development. There are regular opportunities for multi-disciplinary working and plenty of informal support. Our Journal club and CPD sessions aim to investigate the evidence base for therapeutic interventions and ensure that we are providing the most effective therapy for our students. Attendance of relevant external training courses or central excellence networks (CENs) is encouraged. Full time (Full-time equivalent job share considered), permanent, non-residential position.
