Mechanical Project Manager - Reputable M&E Contractor - Loughton Company Overview: My Client is a reputable M&E Contractor based in Loughton, Established over 25yrs ago, they have an annual turnover of £60m. They work predominantly across large residential high rise projects in Central London and within the M25, together with Commercial & Energy Centre Projects Mechanical Project Manager - Reputable M&E Contractor - Loughton They are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally with Residential high rise projects, including Energy Centres, a candidate that can help to grow the business and be an integral part of the team over the long term. Typical responsibilities include: ·Agreeing project objectives ·Providing advice on the management of projects ·Organising the various professional people working on the project ·Carrying out risk assessments and method statements ·Making sure that all the aims of the project and programmes are met ·Making sure the quality standards are achieved ·Using IT systems and site sign in system to keep track of people and progress ·Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors ·Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained ·Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing ·Attending progress and programme meetings ·Liaising with the client as required ·Develop and issue programmes as required using Microsoft Project ·Identify and capture variations to the main contract ·Ensure colleagues undertake their roles efficiently ·Issue Technical Submittals in co-operation with the Technical Team ·Manage visiting or site based Quantity Surveyor ·Prepare and present monthly reviews with Directors ·Procure on site labour as required ·Liaise with the Buying Department on ordering materials Qualifications and training required; ·Minimum HNC in a Building Services related subject preferred ·CSCS Black Managers Card ·SMSTS Health & Safety Certificate ·Minimum 7 years experience within a project managers role ·Experience on projects exceeding £5 Million ·Good mechanical installation knowledge with electrical knowledge secondary ·Experience of new build residential high rise projects including Energy Centres ·Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project ·Knowledge of Auto Cad and/or CAD software an advantage Key skills for project managers: ·Organisational skills ·Analytical skills ·Well developed interpersonal skills ·Numeracy skills ·Commercial awareness ·Communication skills ·Team working skills ·Diplomacy ·Ability to motivate people ·Management and leadership skills Salary The salary on offer for this role is £60k-£75kpackage, dependent upon experience.
