Corporate Finance Director - SUPERB ROLE McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top Accountancy Practice who are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Director/Associate Partner for their growing team in Central London. The firm has an enviable reputation across the City & wider South East, and the role will focus on fund raising (capital & equity) on behalf of clients within the Tech/IT, Digital & Media, Consumer Services, Legal, Healthcare & Consulting sectors. You will be responsible for: Supporting the Partner and senior advisory team in all aspects of Lead Advisory and DD assignments across various sectors on behalf of HNWI’s, family offices & entrepreneurs Preparing documents for fund-raising deals including the Executive summary to a competent level and ready for Partner review. Providing effective end-to-end project/deal management, ensuring clients and third-parties are kept informed of progress and timetables are met. Working on a range of assignments including financial analysis and reports for acquirers and their funders, reporting/accounting work on potential equity stakes and fund-raisings Liaising with C suite Executives (CFO, CEO etc), intermediaries and other stakeholders, coordinating with internal Accounts and Tax departments for detailed information Understanding the drivers of different stakeholders including investors, vendors, creditors, lawyers, bankers etc.and managing them through the deal process Conducting initial client meetings including fee negotiation with Board of Directors, and pitching/winning new business through your external contacts Advising on the commercial implications of decisions taken and recommendations made during an engagement. Business development and active networking with funding partners such as Private Equity firms, VCTs, Wealth Funds, Family offices etc. To be considered for the role you should ideally be degree-educated and ACA/ACCA Qualifiedfrom another Top Accounting firm, Specialist CF boutique or PE/Investment House. You should be able to demonstrate what the key revenue and profit drivers and critical success factors of a business are, and maintain an enquiring and professional approach. Strong capital & equity raising experience is critical as you will be expected to use your network of Banking or PE Funder contacts to help clients with their growth strategies, either through internal growth or via acquisition, controlling the mandates from end-to-end. With high levels of integrity, professionalism and credibility, you must be used to handling multiple funding assignments, enjoy client-facing work and travelling to client sites the majority of time. On offer is a salary up to £120,000 depending on relevant experience with benefits to include deal-related bonuses, company pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday.
