Accounts Assistant, Events Company, Central London, temporary job, up to £15 per hour Your new company This successful Events organisation, based in Central London, is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is initially a fixed term contract for 6 months, however, the position has become available due to growth within the company so there may be a permanent opportunity available. Your new role You will be responsible for checking the purchase ledger coding and VAT on a regular basis to ensure accuracy at all time, you will also be running and assisting with various reports, collating data, chasing outstanding payments and working closely with the management accountant and financial controller to ensure the smooth running of the office. You will be working as part of a small, friendly team, providing assistance and support on a daily basis. What you'll need to succeed You will have previous experience within a similar role and have a hands-on, can-do attitude. Communication is key for this role. You will have good IT skills and be confident in your abilities and telephone manner. In order to be successfully shortlisted for this position you must be immediately available.
