Overview

Microsoft Modern Workplace Sales Specialist Role Objective The Microsoft Modern Workplace Sales Specialist (CSS) will be responsible for achieving margin targets with portfolio of solutions into new and existing Direct customers. The CSS will identify and engage with suitable prospects through a mixture of warm leads, cold calling, networking and other proactive means. The CSS will act as an overlay supporting resource to the salesforce and work in tandem with the Key Account Managers (KAM) to win new Modern Workplace business. These engagements should result in the achievement of agreed margin targets through the sale of Microsoft MCA subscriptions through Cloud-IQ, including associated service profits for Cloud Services and Cloud Economics. Key Responsibilities · Creation, development and closure of sales opportunities with prospects that are not current customers · Work with the KAMs to upsell current customer from O365 to M365, including Teams and EMS, and associated services portfolio · Achieve margin targets · Liaising with the Professional Services team to ensure that services are appropriately scoped such that the deliverables are achievable and that an appropriate amount of time is being costed in for any proposal · Managing the creation of proposals, contract schedules, statement of works and the creation of other customer facing documentation to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism · Communicate all aspects of services and solutions to a high standard face to face and over the telephone · Setting appropriate expectations with customers at all times · Stay abreast of all licensing and industry changes within the marketplace so as to advise potential and current customers correctly · Work with the KAMs to ensure accurate forecasting and collection of customer contacts for CRM entry Knowledge, Skills & Experience · Candidate must have proven experience selling Modern Workplace solutions and related services with a proven track record of personal target achievement · Must be able to demonstrate credibility and confidence as a subject matter expert for the M365 suite. · Highly motivated, self-starting individual with lots of energy · Must be articulate in both verbal and written communication · Be conversant with Office productivity software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint Education Qualifications Minimum academic level required: · Degree qualified or relevant professional qualifications Preferred Professional Qualifications: Whilst preference will be given to candidates who can show relevant experience and a successful track record, formal training in the following will be a distinct advantage. · Microsoft 365 Certified.
