Overview
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Surrey £40-42k Mechanical maintenance Engineers Urgently required for a prestigious client based in surrey. In this role you will be key to ensuring the client equipment; facilities and machinery are to a high standard of safety and efficiency. We are looking for the following skills and experience for Engineers; A sound knowledge of mechanical engineering and the ability to carry out planned and un-planned safety inspection and maintenance work on devices and associated equipment in accordance with legislation. Experience of fabrication, particularly coded welding, desirable but not essential The ability to read and understand schematic drawings in order to carry out effective fault finding and diagnostics. Experience of working with hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams is essential Electrical principals appropriate to actuation of mechanical systems As part of a shift team, must be able to respond quickly and safely to ride shutdowns to ensure maximum ride availability. This will include working at height and confined spaces Thorough understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance Experience of Audio and Visual systems including repair and fault finding Scheduled planned preventative maintenance experience, and be a natural record keeper To have completed a recognised apprenticeship or hold a recognised qualification e.g. City & Guild, BTEC, NVQ level 3, ONC in a mechanical or Electrical/ Electronic engineering discipline as a minimum qualification.
