Overview
M&E Design Manager (Client-side) Job - London - Building Services Your new company A large public sector organisation, managing one of the largest ongoing projects in the UK. The projects will range from simple internal refurbishments to listed and heritage major capital programmes and projects. The overall programme budget is over £1bn. Your new role You will be representing the client overseeing and managing site processes ensuring installation is in line with design and providing decision making on changes to the brief ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed. You will be responsible for the onsite design process being undertaken. Also, you will be liaising with the other Design Managers, as well as internal and external stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed You will have at least 5 years experience as a Building Services Design Manager, or have equivalent experience. It will also be of use to have previous experience working on large-scale, complex projects. You will also need to be a chartered engineer with CIBSE and preferably hold membership with a M&E organisation, such as IEE, IMechE or similar. You will hold a lead role in the delivery of projects, working with contractors and delivery teams and have autonomy over your portfolio of projects. You will be paid a high daily rate to reflect the responsibilities and scope of this role.
