Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly progressive company in a newly created role. Working as the Principal Equipment engineer you will be working within a brand-new manufacturing and clean room facility near Southampton. This is a unique chance to join a multi-disciplinary team to bring innovative high-tech products to market. The role: You will be responsible for the management, commissioning, performance and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, supporting the plant infrastructure and building safety systems. This will include: · High value process and labequipment · Process and chemical plant infrastructure · Technical input intoprojects · Installation and commissioning of process equipment · Acceptance testing of new plant and safetysystems · Ownership and resolution of technicalissues · Ownership of the Technical AssetRegister · Planned Maintenance / TQM of plant infrastructure for specialist processequipment · Future management of the maintenanceteam · Maintenance, shift support and ongoingcalibration/validation The ideal candidate will have: · An engineering background with both managerial and hands-on experience · Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems · Experience in managing high-value, specialist process equipment from a scientific or clean room background · A recognised electrical qualification · Ideally holding a NEBOSH OR IOSH qualification Harper Evans Recruitment is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
