Senior .NET Developer (Entity/Azure) – Central Birmingham This multiple award-winning Start-Up are seeking a talented Senior .NET Developer to join their expanding team. This role requires the successful candidate to: Collaborate with all stakeholders in establishing, refining, and documenting application functional and non-functional requirements of the new financial software with a focus on the integration with client systems. Develop software and related processes to satisfy these requirements. Support the applications through their lifecycle of testing, deployment, operation, user training, maintenance and enhancement Contribute to the technological and methodological direction of the software within the company. Design and implementation of well-structured integration procedures and processes. Onsite in client premises where necessary during the installation and roll-out of software platform. Full integration of the platform with clients existing systems. First technical point of contact for clients during installation and early deployment. Key Skills Required Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing software in a .Net environment using C# .Net Strong .Net development skills, including front-end web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. User interface design experience, particularly experience with Microsoft .Net CORE (MVC 4/5). Experience in Microsoft Entity Framework and SQL Server or Azure SQL. Experience using the suite of Microsoft tools including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services, MS SQL Server Management Studio. Experience in object-oriented development and object relational mapping. Excellent analytic, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with TDD / Agile development methodologies. Proven knowledge and understanding of good software development principles including version control, automated build and test. Solid documentation skills.
