Overview
Fantastic opportunity to join a local Manchester & Tameside based practice and head up a small but well respected department. You will be part of a small local high street firm who have a strong presence across the Tameside, Manchester and Stockport areas. You will be managing your own caseload as well as managing the department, with your caseload consisting of court of protection, LPA's, will, probate, elderley client and administration of trusts. You will be expected to handle a caseload of up to 100 matters. The management aspects of this role will consist of supervising the team, undertaking files reviews, providing training, ensuring work quality is high and allocating work. The team consists of 8 staff, including support, with 4 fee earners split across 3 offices. There will be the expectation to travel between offices and ensure that fee earners are completing work efficiently. You will also be working with a local client base, with a large proportion of work coming from repeat clients and referrals, so the expectation is to deal with work in the most efficient manner and always put the clients needs first. As this is a high street practice, there will also be the expectation to meet clients on a face to face basis, as well as perform home visits.
