Overview

Your new company: My client, a £15m turnover educational charity and company limited by guarantee based in Covent Garden with an income of approximately £15m and a student population of approx. 8000 from over 150 countries. The revenue generating part of the organisation has an income of over £4m and generates £1.3m income. It is a growing part of the organisation with ambitious plans. Your new role: This is a part time role requiring someone to work 1 day per week. The Accountant will work with the Director of commercial operations to work towards increasing the profitability of the department. Duties will include: Acting as the management accountant for the Department Monitor activity and profitability by product System changes to improve the efficiency of the department The role will be both analytical/strategic and hands-on What you'll need to succeed: Qualified Accountant with experience of working in a commercial role. You will have the ability to analyse profitability and produce management accounts with meaningful commentary. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
