Overview
Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are currently working with a global manufacturer in the recruitment of a Group CI Manager. This is a fantastic business with lots of potential, providing the opportunity for a Senior Manager to work closely with the SMT in driving forward a mature, yet ever-evolving operation, whilst striving to continue business excellence in this world-class manufacturing environment. This Group CI Manager will play a key role in the business and will be responsible for: Review, recommend and align all manufacturing processes and departments, identifying areas for 'best in class', driving forward the excellence already established at Group level Develop a talented OpEx team to lead, coach and exceed targets and goals outlined With a clear sight of the company's operational strategy, you will instill a culture to problem solve departmentally and site-wide, implementing the appropriate lean tools Continuously look for opportunities for both profitability and growth areas across the site, reviewing manufacturing processes, maximising productivity and minimising lead time and WIP Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that have a proven track record in the above areas, in addition to: Degree qualified in either Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent Six Sigma Black Belt - desired Demonstrable knowledge of TPS/Lean and Six Sigma tools, including, but not limited to: Management; 3P, SMED, TPM, Transactional Process Improvement, Variation Reduction & Six Sigma Strong leadership skills, demonstrated with lean deployment in manufacturing, with significant experience working with all levels of an organisation and the platform skills, presence and confidence to deliver Experienced in leading OpEx initiatives across an entire site Experienced in executing operational strategy to include change in culture and processes which, in turn, improves performance of all day-to-day operations Basic understanding of P&L and balance sheet, with the ability to drive financial performance This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a real change program within a hugely successful business.
