Overview
Emergency Assistant Nurse Vacancy Our operational team provide advice and assistance to sick and injured people worldwide as part of their travel insurance policies 24hrs a day 365 days a year. Our range of services to clients include the interpretation of benefits available under the terms of their policy, assistance with accommodation arrangements and repatriation back to the UK following illness or injury. Based at our offices in Kent, the Nursing team on a daily basis will liaise with the operational team, patients, family members and treating medical staff to ensure the patient is receiving optimal care and assessing if they are fit to fly and advising on their repatriation needs. We are looking for a RGN to join the team; 40 Hours per week on a rota basis, office based role offering £35,000-£40,000pa dependent on experience. Part Time hours will also be considered. They will report to our Medical Officer and must have the below qualities and skills: Must be fluent in English (other languages would be an advantage but not essential) Must be qualified with experience in repatriation Minimum of 5 years as a qualified nurse with up to date Immediate Life Support Course. Recent Aviation based study day, such as CCAT or RGN forum. Up to date acute clinical skill set Must be able to maintain own core competencies and revalidate with the NMC Must have evidence of Professional Indemnity Insurance Previous experience of A&E/ICU/Cardiac settings are essential Relevant up-to-date acute clinical skill set including, cardiac, trauma/orthopedic and acute medical emergencies To find out more or to apply please click the apply button.
