Overview
The Company Due to expansion this public sector client is looking to recruit a technically proficient Infrastructure Analyst. The Role Working within the Infrastructure Services team, you will be responsible for the provision, management and ongoing support of the organisation's server (Windows and Linux) & backup environments (NetBackup). Your responsibilities will include the: Day to day management of the Server & backup operations, including but not limited to: incidents, problem management. Monitoring, managing and maintaining the organisation's server and backup environments. Securing the server infrastructure by enforcing policies and monitoring access. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation, diagrams of Datacenter, Server Infrastructure. Working closely with partners to provision, secure and maintain the company's Physical Server infrastructure. Supporting, maintaining and administering of Active Directory, ADFS2016 Managing and deploying of server operating systems updates (Patch Management). Managing and deploying of firmware to physical servers, Windows, Linux. Server Configuration and operations management using Microsoft SCOM and SCCM Participating in the 24x7, 365 day, callout rota. The Requirements As an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with significant experience of working in a Server with Backup support environment, you will also have working experience with the support, maintenance and administration of Active Directory. With ideally Windows and Linux experience you will also possess a working knowledge of a number of the following technologies:- Splunk HPE Oneview ADFS AzureAD Powershell Scripting languages VB, .Net, Java Symantec ITMS (Altiris) This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89954391
