Your New Employer Join our client, a well-established and progressive business, at a very exciting time where they are experiencing excellent growth in profits. They are a well-respected commercial business in Blackburn with a reputation for great quality, both from clients and employees. They are actively recruiting for a role within their finance team and are looking for someone who can start immediately. The business is large in terms of turnover, with plans to double this turnover in the next two years. Your New Job The Accounts Assistant will keep track of all aspects of accounts payable accounts receivable and multiple bank reconciliations. You will be responsible for dealing with supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements, allocating payments to the relevant accounts. Alongside this you will issue and track all purchase orders and match up the delivery notes with invoices. Reconciling the creditors ledger and producing monthly accruals, payment runs and prepayments is also an essential part of this role. You will work closely with the management accountant, assisting in the production of management accounts. Your Experience & Our Requirements Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant with a good understanding of the above listed duties. You will have a good all round knowledge of general accounting procedures, with specific skills in transactional finance, strong Sage 50 knowledge and have previous experience of using Excel. You wil be looking for an opportunity to progress within a well-established and friendly finance team. Your Future As The Successful Candidate You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £28,000 per annum, with a good holiday and benefits package (including parking on site) . You’ll receive on going supervision and support whilst in your role and will have the opportunity for growth and progression in your role as the business continues to expand.
