A highly regarded Accountancy Practice are in search for an established Accounts Semi Senior to work within their Accounts Processing Department within their Blackburn office. Working within a busy department the role requires good communication skills and the ability to multi task and work towards tight deadlines. The Accounts Senior MUST have relevant previous experience in a similar role within an Accountancy Practice, and will have completed their AAT qualification. The Accounts Semi Senior will be responsible for: Accounts preparation to Trial Balance Preparing, completing, submitting monthly VAT returns Balance sheet reconciliation Liaison with clients, resolving any account queries Various bookkeeping duties Adding client records onto Xero and Sage software Preparing and submitting Tax Returns Liaising with the HMRC to resolve any issues that may occur Liaising with other departments to assure smooth and efficient year end preparation The Ideal Accounts Semi Senior: Will have a minimum of 2 years' experience within an Accountancy Practice. Be AAT qualified or ACCA Part Qualified. Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Have strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software programmes such as Sage, QuickBooks and Xero Accounts.
