Accounts Assistant | Blackburn | £9.23 per hour | 2-3 month temporary | Onsite parking Your new company Your new company is a thriving engineering business based in Blackburn, who have been market leaders within their industry for over 50 years. Due to continued expansion and the implementation of a new system in finance, they are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a 2-3 month temporary contract, reporting into the CFO. Your new role As Accounts Assistant, you will be reporting to the CFO where you will be responsible for processing contractor invoices and dealing with the contractor and staff queries. You will also monitor staff expenses and time-sheets, reconcile the company credit cards and process purchase invoices. You will be creating new supplier invoices and be responsible for identifying discrepancies by creating and maintaining various spreadsheets for budgeting and forecasting. This is a full time role, working flexibly between Monday and Friday. What you'll need to succeed Experience of working in a similar role will be preferable and/or have recently graduated in an Accounting related degree, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly. You will need to be available immediately and be able to commit to a 2-3 month contract with no long term holidays booked within this time. What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered a competitive hourly rate of £9.23 per hour alongside holiday pay, which accumulates to 33 holidays. Your additional holiday pay is set aside for you to be used at anytime, once you have accrued them.
