Overview

Accounts Payable Analyst - Asset Management This Accounts Payable role sits within the fund side of a mid-sized asset manager in central London and will be responsible for reviewing and processing invoices across a wide-ranging fund base, ensuring that invoices are in line with budgets and billed to the correct entities. You will be working alongside other teams who have the day to day oversight of the funds as well as with other internal and external stakeholders. The role is diverse as it includes operational oversight of the funds offering various opportunities within the department, with ability to network and work with global teams. Responsibilities: Processing and payment of fund invoices, splitting invoice payments by relevant fund entities Preparation of regular payment runs with various outlets and administrator Establish and maintain a working relationship with large suppliers from a credit control perspective Review supplier statements and ensure the supplier accounts are up to date and paid up Handling ad hoc supplier queries Involvement in budget review process; working with Client and Portfolio Services teams to ensure accruals/budgets are in line with expectations Develop management information to enhance transparency for related stakeholders Implementing new and more efficient working practices to the payables function Requirements: Prior experience of accounts payable function (2 years) Prior industry experience working in Asset Management or Investment Management Motivated individual with very strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Good organizational and analytical skills and the ability to effectively summarize findings, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner for both internal audiences and external clients. Ability to take initiative and find resolutions. Hard working, reliable, flexible and highly motivated. Respect for tight deadlines and able to multitask.
