We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for one of the WORLDS MOST RESPECTED ENGINEERING COMPANIES with a fantastic remuneration package, 36 hour working week that includes a 12pm finish on a Friday You'll also have the benefit of working with a team of highly skilled engineers who are always looking to test the engineering during the development of their market leading product. Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical (Perm - circa £45,000 per annum - dependant on experience) JOB BRIEF: This position is responsible for providing Quality Engineering support to the supply chain and supplier development functions to ensure that products being supplied are of the required quality and in accordance with delivery conditions expected within the business. You will also be assisting with the quality certification of potential new suppliers, auditing of new and existing suppliers and the maintenance, communication and improvement of supplier performance metrics as defined within the objectives of the role. As Supplier Quality Engineer you will be expected to meet some requirements from a professional experience point of view in order to be considered; QA audit experience in ideally Defence, Aerospace or Automotive QA engineering experience (same as above) QA associated tooling experience; 8D (Ishikawa & 5why), Process FMEA & Control Plan, Lead Auditor ISO 9001/AS9100 HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent My client offers a competitive salary and great benefit package which includes; Bonus, Pension, Health Care, 36 hour working week, On site canteen and more.
