Overview
The public sector client is looking to recruit 2 x User Researchers for a 10/11 month temporary contract based in the North West/Leeds. The successful User Researchers will have the relevant skills and experience specified below. The client is ideally looking for Researchers who already possess a valid SC Clearance, however, the client will consider candidates without the SC Clearance. If you do not possess the higher level of security clearance requested, then you must be eligible to have the clearance processed/sponsored, if you are offered the job. Please Note: This assignment sits inside of IR35. Job Description: The client is looking for 2/3 User Researchers. ? Minimum Requirement: At least 5 years of practical experience of qualitative research methodologies, in terms of design, execution and analysis ? Experience in taking a lead User Researcher role within a team, setting research direction and mentoring junior research colleagues ? Experience managing team dynamics and holding sufficient authority to effectively challenge points of design without alienating individuals ? Experience of working within an agile project environment, and maintaining effective performance in difficult and challenging circumstances ? Specialise in designing interactions and interfaces for digital services ? Work on all levels of the service, from high-level flows and journeys to the fine detail of individual parts ? Work with different types of content and user-led interactions ? Work across digital and non-digital channels ? Focus on making working software rather than creating artefacts to describe software ? Understand the technical side of design Nice to have: Degree in HCI/Usability/Cognitive Psychology/Market Research or related field. Security Clearance: Eligible for SC Please Note: The lower pay rate advertised in this job description is the highest PAYE daily/hourly pay rate that the client is willing to pay up to. The higher pay rate advertised in this job description is the highest Umbrella Company daily/hourly pay rate that the client is willing to pay up to.
