Role: User Researcher x2 - REF 21250 Contracting Authority: Central Government Contract Length: to run until 20/2/21 Location: Leeds IR35: In Scope Pay Rate to Candidate: £464 a day Umbrella § Minimum Requirement: At least 5 years of practical experience of qualitative research methodologies, in terms of design, execution and analysis § Experience in taking a lead User Researcher role within a team, setting research direction and mentoring junior research colleagues § Experience managing team dynamics and holding sufficient authority to effectively challenge points of design without alienating individuals § Experience of working within an agile project environment, and maintaining effective performance in difficult and challenging circumstances § Specialise in designing interactions and interfaces for digital services § Work on all levels of the service, from high-level flows and journeys to the fine detail of individual parts § Work with different types of content and user-led interactions § Work across digital and non-digital channels § Focus on making working software rather than creating artefacts to describe software § Understand the technical side of design Nice to have: Degree in HCI/Usability/Cognitive Psychology/Market Research or related field.
