Overview

The Company Our client is a Tier 1 Construction Contractor in the Midlands. They are a well-respected name in the sector and continue to grow. Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance team and work with the Group Finance Director on all aspects of finance. The Position : Reporting into the Finance Director this role will have a wide involvement in driving the finance agenda and developing the team. It is high profile and interacts with the wider business and management team. We have a very competitive package on offer and need someone who has previous experience in this role in the construction sector. Responsibilities include: Lead and develop finance team Day to day management of finance function Review and improve financial systems Project costing Margin analysis and sales reporting Financial modelling and cashflow management Preparation of monthly management accounts and commentary WIP Financial analysis and delivery of KPI reporting Manage statutory and year end close for all Irish entities Lead and develop finance team Cash and treasury management Fixed Asset Management Review and manage cap ex Stock management and review Performance reporting Project work The Person: Qualified accountant experience in similar role Team management experience Very strong technical accounting skills Commercial orientation Strong work ethic Ability to work in fast paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills/ability to prioritize work Good interpersonal skills Process orientated Ability to work in team environment Can do attitude Please apply below and get in touch with Heather Duncan or Alex Dettmar in the Birmingham office Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
