Sheridan Maine are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a sales and distribution organisation based in the Warwick area. The Company This sales and distribution business has a global presence with multiple sites throughout the UK and several employees. They are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team due to the natural progression of a current employee. The Role The Assistant Financial Accountant will get a wide range of exposure to financial accounting and the responsibilities include: - Fixed asset register maintenance - Prepayments and Accruals - Reporting to key stakeholders - Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis - Monthly VAT returns - The review of monthly journals - Any ad-hoc duties within the department Person Specification The ideal candidate will be: - Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA) or AAT Qualified - Use of an ERP system - Strong Excel knowledge - Excellent communication skills - Good attention to detail What’s on offer As well as a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 p/a as well as: - Free Parking - Study Support - Progression opportunities The opportunity provides a huge amount of exposure to Financial Accounting and study support to finish off your studies, where you will have a great network of support from the senior staff.
