We are actively seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to join the Johnsons family. The right applicant will manage a very strong and capable finance and accounts team and will report regularly to the MD and designated company officers, overseeing a wide range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to: Supervising the daily administration of the accounts & finance team including all financial and accounting operations. Ensuring all tasks are completed within a timely manner and in accordance to company policy. Implementing and ensuring the necessary accounts controls are in place. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company. Making sure invoices are processed and paid within agreed deadlines and payment terms. Approval of invoices for posting and payment. Regular reviewing and reporting on purchasing costs. Provide cover for other roles within the finance team as and when necessary. Regular review of systems to streamline processes for maximum efficiency. Regular reporting to the financial controller and managing director. Assisting with month-end reporting. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation. Other adhoc reporting or associated work as and when required. You must have strong finance capabilities and experience, with the ability to manage a team efficiently and effectively. Good organisational and communication skills are a must. Ideally experience of Sage, Excel and other Microsoft products. Qualified with ACA ACCA CIMA or AAT is desirable, but experience and ambition is essential This is an excellent opportunity for a well-motivated, forward-thinking individual. You will be based at our fantastic new Head Offices in Sarre, Kent, and due to our location a full UK driving licence is desirable with access to your own vehicle.
