Overview
Quality Engineer /Officer Location: Derby area Industry: FMCG Manufacturing – a leading Global multi-site manufacturer. We are recruiting an immediate Permanent Quality Officer / Engineer opportunity, focused on product integrity, quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Ensuring the site is ‘audit-ready’. Drive quality systems, management and risk assessments in production. Conducting quality audits, internal and external. Does this sound like you? Ideally FMCG, Quality systems, compliance and life sciences background as the site as micro sensitive. However, as the site is vast including high speed filling lines – fill and pack So any fast paced manufacturing environment will suit Support and Improve the Quality Management System and Quality Policy, managing non-conformances and investigations into non-compliance Comprehensively handling complaints and driving product improvements from a large manufacturing site statistical data analysis, drive product and process Quality improvements to eliminate customer complaints. Investigate and assure all customer complaints are adequately documented, registered and resolved Collaborate cross-functionally with Production Engineering, Engineering Technical Support and R&D to resolve Product Quality issues Participate in Practical Process Improvement – Lean Enterprise activities Provide appropriate support as required for internal and external audits Who we are looking for? Quality Engineering Professional, with experience of working within a manufacturing / FMCG / Scientific / Food / Packaging environment – continuous process FMEA/ SPC / Quality problem solving tools and techniques Ideally experience of working with HACCP/GMP/GLP requirements or within a heavily regulated, equivalent industry. Ability to facilitate and perform complex Root Cause, Preventative Counter Measure and Corrective Action implementation.
