Overview
Quality Systems and Compliance Officer Location: Derby Industry: Global multi-site manufacturing company Your role: Responsible for ensuring that FMCG products meet standards set by both the company and regulatory authorities. You may also be required to develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third-party inspectors. Manage the Change Control System at the site. Investigate deviations at the site HACCP management be a member of the business HACCP team and offer expertise, support and guidance as required. Co-ordinate and compile internal and external KPI data Providing assistance in the event of a recall and in dealing with customer complaints ensuring they are dealt with effectively. Does this sound like you? You must be knowledgeable about all food safety standards that are customary within the food or healthcare industry and mandated by government regulations. Standards managers are expected to be familiar with include, the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) management system and the standards set by the business and its customers. Experience in a Quality role, preferably in Pharmaceutical, FMCG Food and Drink and Experience of working in a cGMP manufacturing environment Degree (or equivalent) in Life Science – desirable, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology background
