Overview
Quality Engineer, Warwick, Circa £27,000 per annum benefits A global organisation is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Warwick. Working in a precision engineering environment the Quality Engineer will be responsible for providing Quality engineering capability, and providing support using established techniques and procedures with the aim of ensuring the company is compliant with an array of industry standards. Other responsibilities include: Playing a lead role in the compliance / validation processes on existing and new products; Make recommendations for improvements or modifications to products / processes as needed. Performing scheduled internal process audits; Monitoring quality Key Performance Indicators; Reducing repeat non-conformance issues. In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have proven experience as a Quality Engineer / Technician within an engineering / manufacturing environment, and as such have good knowledge / experience of quality compliance. The successful candidate must also hold a British Driving License. It would be advantageous to have experience in any of the following areas: RoHS (Record of Hazardous Substances), CoSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), WEEE Regulations (Waste Electrical & Electronic Waste), working to ISO9001 / ISO14001 standards, Calibration, NPI (New Product Introduction), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), 5S Co-ordination, IMDS (International Material Data System), Validation. Transferrable positions for the opportunity include: Quality Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Compliance Engineer, Quality Technician, Validation Engineer, Quality Assurance Technician, Quality Control Technician, Compliance Technician, Validation Technician.
