Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Developer to join the Business Systems team. About the role: The Business Systems team supports and develops the Group’s IT applications, playing a key role in the IT Department and wider business. The Head of Business Systems has a team of four Developers who deliver a mix of support to users and projects to develop functionality. As our Senior Developer, you will provide specialist support and development to the Group’s business systems to meet the needs of the organisation and its customers, to promote more efficient working, and ensure systems maintain secure and reliable data. Travel to other offices as and when required. Requirements: Business systems experience: Involvement in life-cycle of at least two significant projects (e.g. implementation) Held lead responsibility for a business system/system module /database Specialist/third-line support for business systems Proven SQL knowledge and use in a practical environment (Oracle/ Transact / ANSI SQL) Excellent level of skill with MS Excel, Word, Outlook Coding experience and understanding of coding concepts What’s on offer: Hours: 36 hours per week (either Monday to Friday, or compressed over 4 days) 24 working days holiday per annum (rising with extended service and additional leave given for the Christmas closure) Occupational sick pay Flexible working On-site gyms, Access to the Social Housing Pension Scheme Simply Health membership Enhanced maternity / paternity leave Training / development opportunities.
