Overview

Our Client based in Kent is looking to recruit a Quality Improvement Lead to join their growing team. Reporting to the Head of Quality & Compliance, the Quality and Improvement Lead will support the quality assurance of the organisation and the person-centred approach of all staff in the development and implementation of care services. The postholder will be accountable for supporting the systems, delivery and assurance needed to implement, monitor and report on quality, safety, regulatory standards and compliance for the company ensuring that evidence of this is readily accessible, in line with the Strategic Plan. Working closely with all operational managers to assess risk, this role will provide effective and visible leadership on the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan, supporting good governance and helping to ensure continuous improvement in care across the organisation. Key Responsibilities for the role of Quality and Improvement Lead will include: Being a key member of the Quality & Compliance team Be responsible for driving quality in care and safety to support services across the organisation. Ensure all services are safe and compliant in line with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements while supporting managers and services to achieve outstanding outcomes for the people we support. To ensure that people we support are placed at the heart of service delivery and desired outcomes are in line with the company's Core Values. Conduct regulatory-based inspections of the company's divisions to ensure they are operating in line with statutory requirements and nationally agreed best practice. Develop individual inspection plans which details activities, timelines and priorities and ensures capacity to schedule and manage inspections using Aspens agreed formats based upon the CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE) and OFSTED Assess and analyse information from a range of sources in order to be effective in promptly identifying trends in respect of risks and concerns that may impact negatively on standards of quality and safety and indicate non-compliance. Ensure that judgements made are based on corroborated evidence and analysis and maintain an audit trail of evidence assessed, supporting the analysis of risk across services and the effective use of risk management and monitoring. To use evidence of practice to support the development and maintenance of relevant policies and procedures across the organisation. Work with each service to develop robust development plans which demonstrate continuous improvement and innovation and support the Service Managers / Heads of Service to review action plans within their remit and provide guidance as appropriate Work with managers to ensure compliance with Local Authority Safeguarding alerts Key Skills required for the role of Quality Improvement Lead You will be an established leader within the field of quality improvement with a tangible passion for engaging staff at all levels to improve the work they do. You will have a vision and understanding of how an improvement driven culture underpins the businesses organisational goals, together with demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge of quality improvement, and a track record of making stuff better across the care sector. Ideally previous experience within the Care Sector and knowledge of the systems and compliances within that sector Ideally experience with CQC, Ofsted and Key Lines of enquiry. This is a full-time permanent role with a salary circa of £22,500 - £27,000
