Overview
An award winning PR Consultancy responsible for providing a full range of Media, Analyst & Investor Relation Services is looking for an established PR Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to join their Professional & Financial Services team. You will work across the likes of insurance, pensions and investment. As the PR Account Manager/Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing clients with a high-quality, professional service, undertaking day to day management of client activities and advising them on PR strategy. You will be confident in drafting press releases and other key communications materials, as well as identifying and converting potential opportunities across a range of media. You will also be involved in devising and implementing social media strategies for clients, contributing to the development of new ideas and plans. The successful candidate will be degree qualified with experience working agency side with both Financial and Corporate clients, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of economic and industry issues. You will also be able to utilise strong relationships with journalists and industry contacts. It is important that you are adept at managing junior team members, providing support to all levels within the organisation as required. You will also be expected to play an active role in new business leads and pitches.
