Are you a Linux Systems Administrator who wants to work for a forward-thinking company with all the latest technology and flexible working? If so I have the perfect job for you. I have a client based in Manchester who is currently looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join their team. Experience needed (not all essential, the more the better) High availability Linux/Unix – e.g. RHEL, Centos, Ubunto Database: MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch Scripting – Shell or Python, PHP or Perl Open Source Tools – Nagios, Cacti, Zenoss Key Responsibilities: Operation and Administration of high availability Linux/Unix based platforms, services and associated tools Responsible for availability, maintainability and scalability of platforms and systems Liaising with internal engineering and development teams to assist in upgrades, enhancements and maintenance production, staging and lab environments Liaising with 3 rd party vendors and suppliers to ensure systems are fully up to date This really is a position not to be missed.
