Overview

This is a great opportunity to work within the Platform Engineering Team of one of the UK’s leaders in commodities trading. You will collaborate with teams within the wider business to deploy and manage systems, help automate and streamline processes, and troubleshoot issues within multiple environments . You will also work with DevOps skilled resources to create CI/CD pipelines, manage, monitor and automate the company infrastructure . Key Responsibilities: Continuously build and test code with scripting and programming languages Manage, track and document changes to code with source control tools Deploy applications via automation with configuration management tools Measure performance of environments and applications with system and application log tools Linux/Windows administration and scripting Ansible playbook creation Key experience required: 2-5 years IT industry experience within the financial services Linux (Red Hat) systems administration Windows 10 Working knowledge of “infrastructure as code” and configuration management of Ansible tower Version control systems CI/CD implementation Oracle IIS and Apache Tomcat Web server skills Atlassian JIRA Scripting skills Active Directory and networking concepts Experience of operating virtual environments (VMware/ Nutanix) If you have the above technical skillset, as well as a proven ability to work collaboratively, excellent communication skills and are self-motivated, then you could be the ideal candidate Apply today to avoid missing out To be considered, please ensure you complete your application on the Computappoint website.
