Technical Support Engineer – Manchester – c.£35,000 Diverse Infrastructure – Interviews Next Week A statutory regulator needs a Technical Support Engineer to provide 2 nd and 3 rd level IT support to users and the firm’s infrastructure. The Technical Support Engineer work within the organisation to resolve technical issues, assist with the roll out of new or updated infrastructure. About the Technical Support Engineer Role: As a Technical Support Engineer, you will ensure that all work assigned to the team is handled efficiently and that issues are escalated appropriately where necessary. You will maintain all technical documentation for IT services, making sure they are TOGAF and ITIL compliant. You will maintain IT security software, reviewing policies and updating them to make them compliant with the ISO27001 information security framework. Key Skills: The following skills are essential for the Technical Support Engineer role: · Previous experience in an IT support role · In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure · Microsoft or Cisco certified · Understanding of Service Desk processes · Excellent communication skills · TOGAF or ITIL certified The following skills are desirable for the Technical Support Engineer role: · Team management experience · Experience working for a public sector organisation About the Company: My client plays a key role in maintaining high standards of conduct in medical professionals and organisations.
