Overview

A well-respected SME multi-disciplinary consultancy that have won multiple awards are looking to expand the contaminated land team with a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer. This opportunity gives you the chance to sit under the office lead helping to build on and develop the team. As a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be tasked with managing the Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical projects from tender stage through to the final invoices including delivery of all technical reporting, commercial awareness and cost control. It will be expected as a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer that you are ideally a well-rounded Geo-Environmental Engineer with good understanding of Geotechnics but it is essential that you can technically lead the delivery of ground investigation design & management, date assessment, risk assessments, interpretive reporting, remedial methods and validation reports etc. Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental specification: BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science or similar; MSc desirable but not essential; Chartered Engineer/Geologist/Scientist with a relevant professional body Typically requires at least 6-10 years specific Geo-Environmental consultancy experience; Significant and demonstrable experience of site inspections, studies, design and reporting. Proven experience writing and reviewing technical reports on an interpretive, remedial and detailed risk assessment basis.
