Overview
To provide on-site and remote IT support for all Callsign staff and to maintain the cloud based and on-prem IT infrastructure The following roles and responsibilities specifically refer to the scope of the London office, however, the post holder may also from time to time be required to assist with remote tasks. § Assisting with IT daily operations that include Windows and Mac computer systems, network management (LAN & WLAN), cloud services, IP telephony, printing services, business application software, process automation/optimization etc. Working with Callsign Security and DevOps teams, to ensure that the IT infrastructure and applications in the London office are maintained to Company standards and policies and to industry best practices Monitoring and ensuring that all incidents and requests are handled promptly and efficiently Assisting with effective management and engagement of 3rd Party vendors to ensure the reliability of outsourced services Ensuring data security and privacy, through network and infrastructure hardening strategies as advised by Callsign Security Assisting with overseeing the implementation of an IT disaster recovery/business continuity plan Assisting with implementation of IT projects Providing second line support network / zScaler / F5 / AWS / Meraki Assisting with business-critical IT tasks and systems administration Tracking and maintaining hardware and software inventory, ensuring adequate spares exist for all work tools, devices, equipment and computer systems for continued business operations and productivity Requirements Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware/software (MacOS, Windows and Linux) Solid networking skills in a mixed os environment and all aspects of network security (Cisco Meraki) O365/Azure administration and services Experience in MDM tools – JAMF and Microsoft Intune Knowledge and experience in the use of ITSM applications Incident, problem, change and asset management Knowledge of Atlassian software Experience in AWS Knowledge of Gitlab and other developer tools Scripting experience e.g. PowerShell, Bash or ideally, knowledge of a modern programming language Desirable skills required: Understanding of data loss prevention and endpoint detection tools (Digital Guardian) 10 years’ experience in IT, preferably at systems administration level Certifications in any of the following would be an added advantage: CCNA, Microsoft MCSA, MCSE or Jamf Benefits Automatic Option: Health Insurance – single Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program 3 months full pay maternity & 2 weeks full pay paternity (if the statutory minimum is met) 25 days of annual leave Callsign Bank Holiday (not included in holiday allowance) Free financial advice Optional: Cycle to work scheme Wills and Estates – our benefits provider has partnered with a third party who offers a discount Home Utilities our benefits provider has partnered with a third party who offers a discount Cycle Insurance Health cash plans Cyclist protection Discounted gym membership This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89875614
