Transport Planner required by a haulage company in Axminster If you are looking to be an integral part of a Transport Operation please apply now You will be joining an ambitious Transport Manager, who is keen to continue growimng a new site. To be considered you will need Transport Office experience and the ability to source sub-hauliers and backloads. General Haulage experience would be perfect The Package: £20,000 - £28,000 Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 The Role: Transport Planner will be sourcing loads to fill vehicles You will be required to arrange subcontractors Negotiating rates with customers and hauliers Ensuring deliveries are made on time Supporting the Transport Manager in the day to day running of the Transport office The Requirements: General Haulage experience preferred Minimum 2 years Transport planner experience Knowledge of UK wide Transport companies Experience using subcontractors essential WR Transport & Logistics are the 1 recruitment partner for transport jobs and logistics jobs.
