Overview
Quality Assurance ManagerAdvanced Metalcraft Limited carries out the design, manufacture, fabrication, supply and installation of structural steel works, stairs, balconies, balustrades, architectural metalwork in London and the South East UK for main contractors in the construction industry.Requirements• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, preferably with a background from the construction industry “Structural and Architectural Metalwork” • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Detailed understanding of Quality, Factory and Welding Management Systems • Great attention to detail • Well-organized and reliable • Able to work with minimum supervision within the senior management team • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeThe Role1. Management and administration of an integrated management system, as a version control repository for all Quality Management documentation 2. Organisation of the calibration system for all measurement equipment and welding plant. Including the maintaining, records and remind of equipment calibration dates. 3. Implementation of all Internal Audits for all Business Streams 4. Maintain ISO 9001:2015 UKAS Accreditation 5. Maintain ISO 1090 Factory Production Control System Accreditation for CE Marking Accreditation for structural steel to Execution Class 2, Building 6. Maintain Welding Quality Management System 7. Produced Technical Evidence Manual to support the issue of CE Marking Certificates and Declarations of Performance Other duties may include 1. Administration of Health and Safety systems, liaising with all departments and external Safety advisor. Arranging training 2. Raising and releasing all PPQ documentation for clients 3.
