Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced commercial and personable Finance Business Partner to join their business in Witney. Client Details Our client is a very successful national organisation with their head offices in Witney, Oxfordshire. Description The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for: Produce monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner ensuring they are robust and accurately reflect current trading performance. Ensuring payroll hours and accruals are in line with best practice Provide meaningful and insightful commentary which supports the accounts and reflects key business issues Ensuring bad debt is provided in line with budget or current reporting requirements Analyse all transactions posted are accurate and understood Prepare and post appropriate accruals/prepayments Provide payroll variance analysis including agency usage information Produce balance sheet reconciliations Production of monthly accounts pack upon finalisation of results Produce meaningful variance analysis to understand key business issues and drivers of performance Regular review of KPI's and management information to identify trends and emerging issues in order that mitigating action can be taken In conjunction with regional management produce a rolling risks, issues and opportunities report for review Work collaboratively with key business partners and stakeholders to develop successful partnering relationships Provides objective challenge regarding spending plans and takes a proactive role in looking for opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively Deliver commercial business partnering service to operations which incorporates proactive review and analysis of region, facilitates operational decision making and drives improvement in trading performance Work with operations to produce realistic but challenging budgets and forecasts as and when required Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Credit Control to ensure all income is billed in a timely manner and reflects current agreements with third party bodies Work in partnership with internal auditor to improve financial compliance and controls within the homes. Proactively lead on implementing recommendations, ensuring the safeguarding of assets Ensure delivery of all annual reporting and audit requirements, coordinating with the requirements and timescales of the Financial Accountant Profile The successful Finance Business Partner will be: Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA and actively studying Confident personable individual Strong background in management accounting Understanding and exposure to business partnering Excellent proven knowledge of Excel Strong organisational skills Potential for future career development and qualification Job Offer The salary on offer will be between £35,000 and £40,000 dependent upon experience and qualification. There is also a study package and generous benefits package on offer.
